People have answered many different questions about themselves, others and the world. There are many knowledge that we relate to common sense, other questions remain unanswered. In order to learn and answer the unknown, people through centuries have learnt, discovered and most importantly, wondered. But what is wonder? Wondering is what distinguishes us from other creatures. All human, some more, some less, are philosophers. We notice, question and discover new possibilities, new changes and new information throughout our lives and generations in order to get the information that some day may become just common sense. But in order for that to happen, humans ought to wonder and this wonder will inspire. After all, Newton did wonder about the apple.

Philosopher never stop asking and answering. When you are a philosopher you not only base on scientist’s knowledge to find the answer. Nothing is right or wrong. There are many various opinions for one topic. But you always have wonder to go to your main point. Since you have know wonder yourself, you just create a space for you to learn, to discover, to hear the others and to give your own feed back. Philosophy is one but in one philosophy it involves many different subjects. Because as I think basic problem of philosophy is the problem of the relationship between existence and thought, between matter and consciousness. Every subject has connection to each other. Like in art people use percentage of body to draw, which is a little bit of math inside. For philosophy, from one wonder you can go to many different aspects and subjects. So “since wonder is the only beginning of philosophy”.

"Philosophy is 99 per cent about critical reflection on anything you care to be interested in." The whole knowledge humanity is using nowadays based on philosophy, and to be more precise, on its roots: interest, research, investigation, evaluation and summary. The way of proposing philosophy starts from the initial part, which is interest or wonder. Without any wonder/interest to achieve certain goal, there will be no success. Why? The answer is very obvious. Unwillingness kills work progress not even beginning it. So, "since wonder is the only beginning of philosophy”, it is defined as the motive of success.

The initial, fundamental element that creates every single knowledge which we as human being or specifically saying philosophers, scientists, religious followers, ...have gathered for thousands of years, is curiosity or we could say wondering. When people wonders how the sun rise and set, how the earth is governed by seasons for their agricultural needs, you could say that all of those kind of knowledge are only for our need of survive and prosper , but the initial reason why we came up with those knowledge is through wondering. Like the young Einstein only wondered about how compass work but end up creating a new field in physic which applications are adapted to our daily life. That is what Plato is trying to say: wonder is the only way to knowledge and the key to success, you only need to wonder with a sense of real curiosity and passion to find out knowledge as you will become a true "philosopher"

Mankind came to this world, began to have reservations about all natural things, and then starts to wonder everything. Time and space are relative and interdependent. As time goes by, human continuous studies and research from the world. But certainly many things but has always been there, but people need to continually research to find in from the nature. Just than Adam and Eve have curious and confused, and steal to eat apples, bear the suffering cycle; and as an apple from the tree to hit Newton, human understanding of the earth's gravity; Be like again, Steve jobs to consider the future of personal computers, human beings finally entered the era of digital technology. The time evolution, originated in the human in the space to think, but thinks and explore, from the confusion phenomenon around our life. Just then philosophy, when people began to think of a man is from, why came to this world, so philosophy began. So as said above,"since wonder is the only beginning of philosophy".

Wonder is the origin of the world, organisms need food and place to live. As well as human, the need of food and habitat was solved by our ancestor long ago. And the desire of knowing everything of the world includes nature become the beginning of philosophy. Human beings have a strong desire to become the master of the earth even the universe. Common sense was passing on in history and we learn from and the knowledge that sage had summarized, but the truth that in depth of human's heart could be difficult to find out. The philosophy is an overall subject of human's wonder. And we use philosophy to explain every phenomenon around us, as we know the things are moving all the time of the first law of Newton. As the quote "Since wonder is the only beginning of philosophy", wonder leads human to think and predict, the feeling of wonder lead humanity to find the answer of all the question, and that is philosophy.

- I dont understand how they do it, do you?
- hmmm, no, I wonder how.

Wondering, the word itself seem very similar to wandering. Wandering is assosiated with having no goal, just roaming randomly from place to place trying to find purpose. Wondering is similar, the only difference is that when you wonder, you roam inside you head, from solution to solution, but more often than not don't they make any sense.

To wonder is to think, to question and to try to find an answer. If it is something sientific one wonder about, like how acid will react in water, one can do an experiment and then devise the answer. If it is a simple question like how the lord of the rings end one can just check it by reading the book, or watch the movie; however, if the question is about something abstract like, what is the meaning of life? There is not one answer.

One starts to wonder. Is the meaning of life to serve god and make him happy? Are people here to fix something or are we just a bacteria to destroy the earth? With these ideas in mind we start to wonder. We ask ourselves: who, were, what, how? and when we have asked these questions there is no final answer, we just continue to wonder, to wander inside our own minds, but as J.R.R Tolken says, not all who wander are lost. To wander is just a way to find yourself, the only limit is time. If you constantly discover new areas of your own mind or strange lands that you have no connection, the closer you will get to explore everything, the only limit is time. Philosophy is The long path to ultimate truth. Actually it is the infinite path to ultimate truth, because it can never be reached because it is always a new theses from every synthesis that is presented.

I believe what is meant by this quote, is that the first step in philosophy is to question, or to wonder. Once you begin to wonder you ask questions and until you reach your answer. Both the process and the result are philosophy. All philosophy began with a question in mind, and in the process of searching for that answer, more questions may be raised and more knowledge obtained. Not only is the search for an answer philosophy but also all the results. That is the beginning of philosophy, a search for an answer

We can all be considered philosophers at some point in our lifes. As human beings, it is natural for us to wonder and be curious about our surroundings, taking interest on them. We want to know more, and we get stressed out if we don't understand something. So even if we don't call ourselves philosophers, we are "wonderers". If you wonder you will look for an answer, look for the truth.
However, I believe that depending on the moment you are in your life, you can me more curious that in other times. For example, when we are little kids we are always asking questions, we want to know more. The problem is that adults give us the answers. Sometimes we find them by ourselves, but we grow up listening to what others have to say. That is why our environment plays a key role in our life, and in our way of thinking. When we grow up, we are not the same wonderers that we were before, because we have plenty of prejudice, and we feel like we already have all the answers. Basically, society has everything controled, and when something is not, people freak out and they look at the ways to go back to normality.
That is why I think that we are philosophers only when we consider ourselves as individuals, and not as a community.

Wonder. What is "wonder"? We are living in a world that full of unknown things. There are always something that we don't know and "wonder" is the motif of leading us to figure those unknown things out. These are not only about scientific or mathematics but also about humanities such as philosophy. That's why Plato said that " wonder is the only beginning of philosophy". Philosophy could basically explain everything in the world, it requires people to think critically to seek what are human beings. Wonder could push and inspire people to do that. Therefore, wonder is a beginning of becoming a philosopher.

The meaning of “philosophy” is the love of knowledge. We gain knowledge through our uncertainty and curiosity, from things that makes us wonder. Wonder is the want of knowing and learning more, and by wondering one starts thinking, look things up, research and so on. Having interest for something but not knowing the answer creates for many people an urge to investigate. One seeks the answers, the knowledge behind it. The knowledge may not be what is expected, or even considered at all, and can even not ever be found as some things are opinion and belief based and therefore don't have any certain answer. The fact that wonder is the beginning of philosophy is fairly logic as a philosopher seeks knowledge and wonder creates this urge. I wouldn’t define a philosopher as one certain type of person, because all people wonder. Everyone must at least once think of something and asking oneself a question for then to try to figure it out. It is a natural human thing to do, and we do it all the time. We wonder and we think, we consider and we conclude. Sometimes getting a different perspective on something can change our conclusions, as things are never certain. Sure, many things when it comes to math and science have concrete answers, but what if there is a piece of knowledge that we’re missing? That all our theories are wrong? By wondering we make these chances smaller and smaller as we try and fail. Failing is not a negative thing as we learn from it, and understand how thing don’t work. It only gets us closer to the answer and the knowledge.
